Hello from East Anglia
« on: November 21, 2020, 22:16:31 »
Hello all

Found this forum from a search, and since the V Strom is a keeper, I thought I would register. Not joined a forum for some time. Here’s my story.....

First bike at 16 was an AP50, went like a rocket (54mph). Second was a TS125X, great bike, the only one (so far🤔) I’ve accidentally dismounted. Time passes, failed test early twenties, abandoned things for a car. Second try thirties, then we became pregnant.....abandoned things again, all my bike funds went on a sensible car😕. Undaunted, eventually, I passed my test almost a year ago, third time lucky, nearly 50. Got the bike I always dreamed of, GSXR750. Great bike, too quick for me. Being Suzuki through and through (see below), I searched for something more suitable. One V Strom test ride later, and I’ve got my next bike picked out.....just needed to wait for the colour I wanted.

I run my own car garage, was Suzuki Auto trained for 15 years, and lucky enough to be SGB Guild Auto Technician winner 3 times. Love this brand, and always will!!! Hope I can contribute to this site.

Regards Martyn

Hello and  :welcome2:
Look at the clock and the calendar.
It'll never be now again.
So just get out and do it.
As fast as you possibly can.
Because .........
Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

Hello Martyn and  :welcome:

There are so many Martin's or Martyn's on here. It says a lot about the age profile of V-Strom Owners.

The name Martin shows a lack of imagination on the part of the parents!
