Decided to keep the bike
« on: September 30, 2020, 10:51:22 »
Did have my V Strom for sale but no interest so took it for a few runs. I forgot what a smashing bike it is and have decided to keep it in the hope of some European touring next year.
Few pics of Glencoe.

Here's one for you Steve, last time I was out I took the bike over this road in Glen Lyon/Lochay.
I imagine you've been here but its getting more off roady with deterioration. Your kind of thing  :)

Right choice, right use and some good pictures.  :text-bravo:
Look at the clock and the calendar.
It'll never be now again.
So just get out and do it.
As fast as you possibly can.

Went over it in August and in all honesty I didn't think it was that bad. I had expected it to be worse than it was, so that possibly swayed my thoughts on its condition.
Still encountered Lycra man on the way over . Some of those potholes wouldn't just buckle a wheel, they'd swallow the bike  :auto-dirtbike:

Great pictures, I was up there a few weeks ago. The 650 is a very capable bike indeed.
