Thanks for all the positive feedback much appreciated, I am really jealous of those like old git that have all this beauty on your doorstep.

I agree don't improve the roads it just adds to the appeal narrow single track .
I witnessed at one spot near the ruined castle photo I added some troll who was wild camping just left their fire alight despite being in touching distance of the Loch.

But we are planning already our return so much choice where does one start? :auto-dirtbike:

Some great photos, it’s nice up there in between the soggy bits 😉

Thanks for sharing what seems to have been a memorable trip for you both  :unionflag:.

Unlike Oldgit I've not lived up here all my life, just the last 32 years of it , but like Oldgit I too enjoy the roads north, south & east of where I live in Moray and am grateful to be able to enjoy them as a day trip if so inclined (loooooong day trips in the summer months when little darkness is experienced  :lala:). The earleir and later months are easier on the stress levels as there are fewer of everything mechanical on the roads - still plenty of sheep & deer though .
Also like Oldgit I enjoyed the blissful emptyness on the roads that occurred when everyone was cowering in their caves in case they sneezed and got incarserated!

Bring on the 2nd wave
