YES!! Is the new 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 COMING??

After a couple of months of guessing and rumors about a new V-Strom 1000, finely an answer from Suzuki.
Just got the premier teaser from Suzuki with a first impression of the new 2020 Suzuki (V-Strom 1000??) will going to be. Not much to see yet,

but the beginning is there.
Little by little the new Suzuki will be revealed.
As soon as I get new info, I will let you know.

Timely post OP.

I spoke to my dealer today, me 17 strom is now just over two years old 12K with the 15K service coming up so I asked about trade in. He assured me there no new vstrom coming yet and said they have just had main Suzuki uk in. I mentioned VVT patent etc, new beak.

He then offered me a new unregistered base model in black for 8200 and a xt in blue and white for 9200 OTR. Both in stock. Mmmm maybe they a re trying to clear out stock at those prices but for what? Mmmmm. Think I'll wait a bit.

new teaser is out.

New engine cases and plastics for sure.

Watched a few times now.. New screen maybe headlights, new front end plastics (beak). The interesting bit for me is at 10 seconds. stop the video and fullscreen. Engine case has been modified clutch side but is there something different around where the water pump is normally?

- that casing always did corrode early doors, even on SV's.. I can't make out what it is or what its for, but it sure don't look like the current water pump.

If it is an 800cc v twin with 90+ bhp, better brakes and suspension I will buy one.
I do not want a 1200, although others may, as it will weigh even more than the 1000.

Visordown seem to think that engine case is smaller - I'm not so sure. Still hoping for more power - an 800 would have me shopping elsewhere.

nice beak I thought...... New handguards, mirrors. Think I can't see a throttle cable - mmmm. Side clutch case definitely different - can't see waterpump. Seat looks to have slimmed down a bit and there colored plastics on the subframe. Also thinking that front cylinder does look quite 'substantial'.. Heres hoping
