Hello
« on: August 05, 2018, 15:32:20 »
Until last week I was a TDM 900 man. Now I'm a V-strom 1000 man. Got a 2017 with less than 6000 miles on it. Loving it so far. Slightly more grunt than the TDM, slightly better suspension. better brakes (well front anyway) and with a big Puig screen better wind management.
I've just moved from Nottingham to a small village a few miles south for a bit of peace and quiet in my old age. Thought a modern bike would be better than an 11 year old one with leaky forks! If the bike is out of action here I'm stranded!
So far I have just one question which I will post in the relevant forum.
Thanks for having me.

Hello and  :welcome2:
Look at the clock and the calendar.
It'll never be now again.
So just get out and do it.
As fast as you possibly can.

Well Gassoon I am indeed an ex Deauville rider. That was the bike I got to get back into riding after a twenty year break. Kept that for 3 years and followed it with the TDM. That taught me the style of bike that suits me hence the V-strom.
