Hi
« on: March 22, 2018, 20:37:41 »
Hi All
Don't have a V Strom yet but having totalled my FJR a few days ago I am considering a DL1000. Not sure if I will buy new or second hand. There seem to be some attractive offers on the new models at present. If I go new I will probably go for a basic model without the boxes etc. I prefer the aftermarket boxes.

:welcome2: to you, the 1000 is an easy bike to live with, feels quite nimble once you're rolling, and benefits greatly from some good aftermarket tyres, such as pr4's, and half a day shrouding a few electrical connectors against winter road salt.
I love mine, both for fun in the country lanes, and hauling across Europe or such like, versatile road bike.
