Exhaust manifold/ y pipe
« on: June 24, 2016, 07:43:47 »
I have a DL1000 k2 and a previous owner decided to have a single outlet exhaust (right side exit)
I'll post pictures later when I've washed it ????

So it looks as though the pipe that passes from right to left in front of the rear wheel has just been cut and a cap welded on.... I guess this won't make a massive difference to performance but, it's not particularly easy on the eye if you know what I mean?

Do I stick with the single or try and make a twin again?

I take it I would have to try and find a complete y pipe/ manifold and matching remus end can, sheesh that sounds like hard work haha

Financially best to leave it as it is then and find a tool tube to mount in the recess do you think?

Questions questions! lol
