2112   I’d be inclined to leave well alone now as you say it’s pretty much solid 🤔  you could try Brocketts idea of a hairdryer just to see ?

The sealant could have been an old tube, they take longer to set. Non setting sealants take days just to skin up even when warm and never set fully.

@Timangus - Make sure you carry a 12mm spanner in that tool kit, we discovered several Honda kits don't!

They are 25cm deep
7 cmm across
14cm tall
and are lined with a rubber trim, top and bottom to reduce rattles.
