It's not a Gilera by any chance ?
Mr 2112, you are in the right (Piaggio) area. It's a Vespa. Once it's run in I'll be sure to let you know the hoot factor.

Grand stuff, probably the same engine in a different frock. You'll love annoying cars off the lights  :thumb:

Today I fitted some gel graphics to the tiggers handguards. They took a bit of fitting as I had to get everything nice & warm (hairdryer) to make sure it followed the contours & bends. Then give it another blast  of heat to fully activate the glue. Very happy with the results however.

Ride out from Maltby to Squires Cafe then Selby and Doncaster (J&S) and home ...before sliding back in to bed to the screams of my wife as my freezing body found hers

GIVI Engine bars for the 'Stone' arrived today and were fairly easy to fit. I then set about wiring in the accessory plug to the Sat Nav. Two jobs jobbed without too much faffing. That's not normal.

The forecast promised some sun so out with the Stone and off to meet some pals at Grumpy Cafe 127 mile round trip. On the way home the temperature on the dash read 17 degrees on the A14/A12 junction, but went down to 11 degrees only 6 miles south. Nice ride though and it's great to be out for a dry ride this time of year. As you can see this was a black day for me.

@Rusty That beast has some mighty horns. Was it really that close and on your side of the fence?
It is a super photo.

@endintears. Despite my claim to be indifferent to such things my inner 'tart' does show up now and then.

Yes, Brockett. Two of 'em just sitting on a junction above Malham Cove. Totally unflustered by the bike, me or photography.

Today saw the tigger getting some well deserved soapy love after a 160 mile trundle through the Scottish borders yesterday. It was proper filthy when I got home but it was nearly dark so it just got put away dirty. However, 2 hours effort, 4 buckets of wash & wax and some Demon Shine  and it's gone from minging to blinging !

Wow! nice job. Your minging is more like my blinging. I live up a farm track so cleaning the bike to match your blinging standard would only last 100m then it would be covered in mud again. Mine gets a good wash (not to your standard) then ACF50 reapplied, job done.
Without rain, there would be no rainbows.

I have to confess to being a complete tart fair weather rider so it doesn't usually get that dirty. ACF50 is a marvelous invention to stop your bike dissolving over winter  :thumb:

Rode it . . .

Took a run out to Spean Bridge, taking in the scenery and enjoying some global warming.

From the road less travelled to the south of the great glen

From my usual photo point at the west end of the loch

The destination for my outward bound leg

The loch that sits at the side of the Laggan-Spean Bridge road – a bit fuller than when I last rode past it . . .

A slight detour along an allegedly paved road – hard to see, but that’s a good bit of peat coloured water in front of the bike . . . with huge amounts of the tarred road missing in its depths

And finally, you meet the nicest people on a Honda!  :lala:
A certain Transalp rider mentioned in conversation over the weekend that he quiet fancied a bacon roll in the railway carriage café near Grantown, so I just happened to pop in on my way home  :)

200+ miles in weather as shown in the pictures. Swapped from my heavy gloves for my summer gloves for the ride home. And the bikes still not on reserve

Global Warming!!!!

YES PLEASE
