2112 - yes absolutely. Considering the things I rode, and loved, back in the day.
When I get the next one I will put up a photo and so will not yet name it even though, according to Adam Ant "ridicule is nothing to be scared of". I thought I might go for something different. I quite like the Royal Enfield 350. Nice sound, good for 65 - 75 and cheap as chips. My friend wants me to get an Enfield Interceptor 650 but it's a bit too popular and I don't want to copy others.
My Honda NC is capable, but boring and the KTM 690 is  just right as a trailer bike, fun but too frantic for quiet Sunday rides.  If the doom mongers are right, then the value in what little I have saved up may be whittled away in the forthcomming  tidal wave of inflation. So I might as well buy another bike. Well that's my excuse anyway.

:text-goodpost: that's reassuring, I feared you'd succumbed to us saying you never stop buying new bikes.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

One of my friends bought one for his Mrs who passed her test earlier this year at the ripe old age of 59. She loves it, you can't get her off it and it does over 80 mpg - what's not to like about that ?

My wife had an Enfield Bullet 500 for her first big bike after passing her test in 2015.
Loved the bike, but lacked a bit of power and smoothness for touring. I know they have done a lot of work on the newer engines to reduce the vibes and smooth everything out.
Back in 2015 there wasn't many options her her being 5ft3" so it got swapped for something with a little more power and lower seat height... GSX1400.  :auto-dirtbike:

I did replace the rear wheel bearing and knackered carrier bearing on the GSX1400 friday night.
I have to say that was the easiest change I have ever done, the old ones poped out easy and the new ones slid right in.
I didn't hit a finger, the worst injury was a small splinter from the blocks of wood I lay the wheel on to drive the bearings out.

Pulled the front wheel off but the bearings were nice and smooth, to be honest the real bearings were fine, just the carrier one was toast. Picture below.

 :text-goodpost: I hadn't thought of that.

Does it begin with a "B"?
