My usual hand cleaner is CIF as it cleans without removing all the natural oils in my skin. I used the brake cleaner so as to not make the door handles mucky on he way to the bathroom.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

brocket ...

We all have those "what I call" blonde moments and they generally end up costing either money or skin...

To remove chain grease , which most hand cleaners struggle with I use a de-greaser called "Soc" made by Rock oil.
Its very powerful so, I tip a small amount on a rag and then clean my hands or where ever else it gets.
I then, straight away, clean that off with my usual hand cleaner.

Been doing that years, I've still got lots of skin left ...  :icon_wink:

My chain identifies as a driveshaft.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Sunny day Sunday – think I’ll go for a bimble.

Stopped here to listen too . . . . well, nothing really. The occasional peregrine falcon calling up on the cliffs, some ravens croaking off in the distance and a lone osprey silently winging its way over the hills kept me company for a short hour.

Got a little “lost” several times on my way back to so called civilisation . . .

Hello John.

Yes, we did meet last month when I rolled some miles with the JOGLEers  Good de-tour you put in on your way to Fort Bill  :thumb:

Upt North - the glen that runs west from Tomatin is where I was at, man

Coignafearn is right at the end which is where the 1st picture was taken. The others were taken along various little bits of dirt that can be found in that general area

Picked my dad's Virago up from the dealers.

Blamed me for not switching the fuel switch to reserve. Bollocks. No bike made would run for 25 miles after the fuel level drops and the bikes starts sluttering.

The first image should be the fuel filter... now replaced and shes running fine.

If you want something done right, do it your bloddy self!
I shall be checking new filter after a few miles and if it show much being collected I'll properly clean the fuel system out.

Saturday - With a friend on his 765 Triumph and me on the NC750X rode 181 miles to a hotel in Chellaston and had a few beers with Barbel Mick.
Sunday - rode to Donington  Park for a classic bike event and spent the day wandering around gawping at bikes from the 'good old days' racing harder than I thought they still could.
Today - rode home, almost but quite totally, cream cracker'd.
Nice weekend away.
That bloody seat is so hard - Strommers don't know how lucky they are

Today, I really appreciated my bike (see test ride report in 'Traitors Corner' for more details). It's not often I sit and reflect on the engineering genius devices modern bikes are, but after a fraught test ride I have today. Give your bike a pat on the tank, it's a thing of marvel & wonder  :thumb:
