Mate, I'm no expert and probably you are but, have you considered the possible  needing different fuse ratings for each?

They will both run usb power so marginal amps.

The wiring is rated at 10amp and fused for 6amp.

I guessed you knew more about it than me and, I've just read my post? I must have been drunk when I wrote that. My grammar was awful. To be honest, I'm usually watching TV and typing at the same time.

Today I removed the front wheel and mudguard for cleaning purposes. In the process I managed to lose one of the "R" clips for the brake pad pins. :bawl:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I assume the Power household was treated to the sounds of "Oh dear me, how unfortunate. Now where the heck did the little chap go"?

Found it yet? I'm betting it's stainless, too, so no magnet fishing.

I got the petrol strimmer going today. Man I love the smell of two strokes in the morning.

Amazing, Rusty. When I read that paragraph about TLP's predicament I thought the same thing! Anglo Saxon will have been spoken, I'm sure.

@Rusty, still no sign of the blighter. They are not stainless and yes a magnet was utilised. It will no doubt show up when the new ones arrive, yes I did use the plural and yes they only come with the pins.

Sixteen and a half f*cking quid, the genuine radiator guard I bought was £15

Next door's feral kids were outside playing in their garden, they learnt a bit of new language this morning. ###

Use the traditional way.
Just like how you'd find a bit of lego you were looking for.

Take your shoes and socks off and walk around a bit. Sure to find it in 10 seconds.

(Jen's suggestion by the way.)

Yesterday the replacement shock arrived for the XJ600.

I decided to strip off the swing arm and give it a lick of paint around the mounting.

It was quite rusty and I ended up spraying the whole swing arm, caliper torque arm, mount and most of the rear sub frame. (After a coat of Crust)
Then reassembled and with a second hand rear caliper I bought to replace old one that's in quite a bad state. (The bike can fall apart for all I care, but I still want the brakes to work)

Today's genius creation is a fully integrated hot beverage transportation system for use at the end of the apocalypse. I used the plastic packaging that a replacement car battery came in and then lovingly and skillfully upholstered it in gaffer tape.

Next up will be some Queen's Highway pegs.

Metal detector - that might work. Unless the clip is in your tool box.

I've just tried your tracking app Brockett, that didn't work either.

have you had Bucket and his nose on the job. Surely a few sniffs of the caliper and he'll soon find it.

Fitted new rear shocks to the GSX1400.

Simple easy, no stress for a change.

Had a Yorkshire battle cry moment and spent some money. Given that Mr Archer is so bloody difficult to get hold of, and the matter of my bike seat being very uncomfortable after even a short while, I've taken the plunge and thrown a load of cash at Touratech for some of their "Kahedo" made seats. May God have mercy on me, as my bank manager won't. At least I will have something comfy to sit on after getting my arse kicked for spending so much!
