Old git: I know some of those roads well & I'm jealous you were out doing that while I was in the guts of my bikes...

Tonight I set about stripping out the lambda probes. Front cylinder one came out fairly easy as it's pretty accessible and just needed a bit heat to set it free.
The rear, however, is a different story... It lives in the inside of the bend in the header just outside the exhaust port:
This required the removal of the top rack, side panel, splash guard and rear shock:
The shock is a fair chunk of White Power's finest - they don't look as big hidden away in the frame:
Back to the probe... Much heat & penetrating oil was required with this one, but persistence & mild brutality triumphed in the end.
All set for the plugs & bungs now.
