Alpinestar El Nino rain suit
« on: March 01, 2011, 18:47:52 »
Hi
After last week trip to work when I had to pour water out of my textiles I decided to buy a rain suit. Never had one so I went and bought Alpinestar El Nino which won the Ride magazine rain suit test. My local shop gave me a discount and I got it for £69!!!
it is worth every penny!
It is very easy to put on because the inner layer (net) slides over you textiles and boots. What is also very important it is breathable - it lets air in and out so you don't sweat that much. I can tell it is 100% waterproof. Last Saturday I tested it in a 2h ride in heavy rain. Not a drop went through.
Really nice bit of kit.

Yes, I can second this El Nino review.  I bought one for a trip across the USA a few years ago - brilliant ! Comfy, easy and very waterproof.
