Fairly new V-Strommer
« on: July 26, 2025, 17:14:45 »
Hello blokes, so I got my full licence in May, just a couple of months ago, and bought a 2010 V-Strom 650 as my first bike. At the beginning I felt it too heavy (compared to the riding school's CB650F), but I quickly got used to it. I am starting to love this bike, and I think I definitely made the right choice when deciding what bike to buy. Tomorrow I am changing the stock exhaust to a Delkevic 350mm Oval Carbon, can't wait to hear what it sounds like. I am happy to join this forum and see what other people post about the V-Strom and also learn new things.  :lala:

Hi Danny, we are happy you joined the club too. I feel sure you will hanker for and have other bikes but I bet you come back to a V-Strom of some description. You have the best all round bike ever made. :welcome2:  :thumb:

This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can. Nothing travels faster than the speed of time.

I got a 2004 when I passed my test and I never bought another bike. I've had it nearly 21 years now.
