Well hello to you all,

Greeting from Wiltshire. Very happy to be here !

I've finally made it back on to a bike after a c25 year absence. After far too much internet research, I settled on a 2018 Vstrom 650 and many thanks to Reece from Hampshire for selling me a lovely example ..... I intend to do all the work I'm capable of on the bike, and am sure I'll need your help along the way.

One very quick question for starters, I have a cracked rh mirror. Is is possible to just replace the glass ? Google searches just return the whole unit or a very unlikely halfords universal glass offering.

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all.

You can thank me later for not bothering you with rack and luggage queries ! I've seen how boring they must be and just taken a punt on that...

Hello and welcome. I guess you will have to change the mirror. Why don't you post in the wanted section, someone will probably have one because it is popular to change them for Halfords one's. Someone who has may sell their old one's.
