« on: June 09, 2021, 13:25:12 »
Key is
jammed and won't move in either direction. Any suggestions other than disc cutter? Cheers

Don't laugh but get some wd40 in with the straw attached, should be some room down the side of the key, flood it out with the stuff then leave it to soak a bit and start waggling the key, worked for me once if it doesn't work hay ho  you are all lubed up for the angle grinder !! Is it a patriot lock? because mine was fiddly.

Actually its on my sons bike. He's just sent me a video and whereas I'd assumed the key was jammed tight it's actually turning quite loosely but won't unlock so I guess the lock mechanism itself is buggered, but thanks for the reply.

Get him to try the spare key if he has it because if he's used it loads the key may be worn, often the keys are softer metal then the lock components, worth a try.
