Finally found soft luggage that suits.
« on: July 16, 2019, 19:32:43 »
So , after lots of research , reviews and recommendations I've finally found some soft luggage that meets our needs so I thought I'd share it on here just in case anyone is looking to do the same .

BMW panniers frames are an odd shape and designed to fit their own aluminium panniers, of course ..!! But , I'm not laying out a small fortune for their heavy panniers that in my opinion look hideous on the F800 and as I'm trying to save weight soft convenient bags seem a better option for this bike.

I'm sure most of you have heard of kriega, after popping over to a local supplier I decided to buy thier £139 US-30 litre Rolltop Drypack, it's just the right size that can easy take a weeks worth of clothing , the design would fit just about any bike and pannier frame out there because they supply enough straps and clips that suit just about any solution with build quality that is backed up by a 10 year guarantee.

The bags can be removed in seconds and with a convenient shoulder strap carrying is very easy.
I'm yet to road test them but if my luck is in I shall use them on the West Wales meet.

Is that BMW or Kriega pipe-lagging on the heated towel rail?
