GPR exhausts
« on: May 28, 2016, 09:18:08 »
Hi blokes, I'm thinking about one of these gpr exhaust systems for my glee, has anyone got one? And does it do what it says, give a bit more low to mid range power? And the important thing, sound better!

On reading more about after market exhausts, the Fuel ones seem good, have they got the hole for the sensor? If not does it need one?

I'm not familiar with the glee setup, but my fuel end can has been fine, I would give them a call if no one can answer your question, they are good people, I would be surprised if the plug was not on the link pipe, if it replaces the stock pipe where it is fitted.

You will want the O2 sensor on there.

Hi Tone,
I had a GPR on my Wee & then a Fuel on my Glee. Only my opinion, but I think the Fuel was the better option. It seemed better built than the GPR & was also cheaper. The screw that held the baffle in on the GPR stripped soon after I got it, whereas on the Fuel it was much more substantial. Both sound much better than the original though.
They both come with the fitting for the lambda sensor - but I think the Wee & the Glee have different size sensors. So long as you order the correct one for your bike it will fit no problem.
If you do go for the Fuel, use the code 'SV-OC' (from the SV owners forum) when ordering as it gives 5% off.

I've got a GPR system on my Glee and I absolutely love it. It sounds superb mines got the mesh cone in but I don't use the removable baffle. I can't comment on any increase in power 'cos I put it on within two weeks of buying it new and as the bike only had around 400 miles on it,it was still being run in.But it must do something the weight saving is incredible must be nearly half that of the standard unit.
