Flying machine
« on: February 21, 2016, 15:16:48 »
Received my letter and took bike in to dealers for wiring recall last week. They said would take a couple of hours so did I want to take a bike home ? As weather was cap didn't fancy walking round town in rain said yes  thinking it would be a scooter or something tame.    To the front of the shop and they gave me the keys to a brand new demo GSX-S 1000F. :haha: Would that be OK.??? Would it !!!  :lala:
Set off very gingerly in pouring rain thinking what am I doing on this "flying machine" in this bloody weather..
What a bike!!. The engine, throttle response, precise handling and the SOUND of the exhaust. . It just inspired confidence right from the off. Oh boy could you have fun on it on a nice sunny day.. :thumb:
Would I want one.? Yes..Could I live with it as only bike? No.. would lose my licence or be dead in 3 months.  ( piccy attached.)

I agree with everything you've said...... I was given one as a courtesy bike and couldn't believe the power it has. I honestly reckon it pulls harder in 4th gear than my V-Strom does in ANY gear.

Wouldn't swap though.
