Nah, not here, had it since 13th last month, done 1,600 miles.. About to sorn it for the winter, I'm going to try to keep to 4,000 a year for the 3 year warranty period to minimise dealer servicing..

6,100 miles in 6 months is a bike that's well ridden, nice one.. It'd be helpful to Glee owners if you report any mileage related problems that might arise over the mileage for the rest of us to check, you're a pioneer.. :)

Got it 24th March with 1000 miles on the clock, now done 11,400 miles. Getting 11,000 mile service on Saturday. Valve clearances don't need done on a Glee until 14,500.

No problems at all, adjusted the chain a couple of times (by a tiny amount) and a pair of tyres. Not used a drop of oil or coolant. Biggest miles were my holiday trip to Corsica, Sardinia, Tuscany & French Alps and much scooting about Scotland. I can't stay off the damn thing!

Had mine since end of may and just coming up to 5k. Just over 1k per month.
2 oil changes, 2filters. No problems just pure joy. Haven't even needed to adjust chain.
Brilliant bike

Been riding since mid July. 3500 mile service done yesterday. Only money it hast cost me is fuel and chain maintenance products. I am confident they are all pretty sorted. Only thing I've heard from dealer is a handfull of bikes needing brake switches replacing. They have also extended warranty and AA cover to 3 years on all new Glees.

I've racked 4,500 since August. Mainly commutting daily with a few longer haul trips but not out of Scotland yet. I'm going to do my advanced test to get a bit off insurance  and wee bit more experience then I plan on doing some long haul stuff. The biking year never ends for me unless ice is everywhere.

Some numbers from mostly across the pond are at http://www.stromtrooper.com/DL650-2012/ ... -club.html
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

Mine had just over 11,000 miles on the clock when I traded it in  a couple of months ago (not bad coming from Guernsey !) It was serviced, new tyres and the chain adjusted - that was it.
