dl650x tinted screen

Hi,

Just bought a new dl650x and it came with the standard clear screen, I asked the dealer about the short tinted one and he said they were waiting for it to arrive from Suzuki and when it came I could obviously have it.
I have just booked it in for its first service and enquired about the whereabouts of my screen and he is telling me that Suzuki no longer supply the x model with the tinted screen, before I go in and kick off I wondered which screen everyone else has been supplied with on their x models, cheers,

just a quick post before I head off to work, I bought me wee only a couple of months ago and got both screens, I see no reason at all why they can't order you up the tinted screen, all the 650x bikes in my local dealer are sitting with it on them, try calling a different dealership and asking them. it could be your dealer if sellling them off on the side and they have none left to hand to you, which means they cocked up and will need to pay the extra and order one specially for you. AFAIK they come to the dealers with both screens.

Thanks for that, I have actually rung Suzuki uk and basically they told me that the x model now comes with clear screen only but I can order a tinted one for £ 82 if I like! I really don't know where to go now I was hoping Suzuki would contradict my dealer but they haven't !   I certainly aren't paying for one, I might as well spent that on a madstad!
