new helmet
« on: December 06, 2010, 11:51:24 »
Hi all

Thinking I ought to get a new helmet at some point - having fallen off my SV and scratched the visor on my X-Lite 901?

Ideally want a reasonable price but with good anti-fog system, good venting and quiet (want to use bluetooth inside it at some point)

Any suggestions?

The hard bit is always assessing ventilation and noise levels when standing in a shop! :)

and yes I know - should've asked before the Motorbike Show

Try the following AGV Tri tech or GP tech both very comfortable and quite. don't need a pinlock on the Tri Tech (as I had one) really good vents but not noisy (even at high auto-bhan speeds). Shoei XR1000/raid 2 George white have then super cheap if you don't mind last years colours. The Better half has a Raid 2 and loves it went round europe for 3 months with it a never complained about noise or comfort. and she don't wear ear plugs. :auto-dirtbike:

If you haven't bought ye, may I recommend lookind at an HJC.  Comfy, quiet and reasonably priced.

Can't recommend a particular one as they are all different interior shapes, but there should be one to fit any bonce.
