DL1000 k7 Replacement front springs
« on: April 26, 2025, 14:44:09 »
Hi all, I would like some information regarding replacement front springs, should I replace with original, hyperpro, or progressive, the originals are 8mm under wear limit size, the bike is a 2008 DL1000 k7
Many thanks

Try Brook Suspension who are near you ?
Not used them but they have a good reputation.
Linear springs are usually fitted if revalving, as a straight replacement , not sure , but Brooks will know.

The Hyperpro kits are very good and easy enough to fit. I had a set fitted to my K6 and it made a big difference. Once you've sorted the front, you'll then notice the rear...
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'

Brooks suspension for me too.  :thumb:
I had good service from them a few years back when trying to sort my suspension on the 650.
