DL1000AL8 and Extras
« on: April 10, 2019, 16:49:20 »
I've recently run into some health issues that are forcing me to give up on motorcycling for the unforeseeable future so I thought I'd test the waters and see if anyone was interested in a new bike or some of the accessories separately before I let them go with the bike.

Everything is currently fitted to a 2018 DL1000 unless stated otherwise.

Ravetech satnav bracket, fully populated with 3 ram mounts.
Givi Tacklock ring and ST602 4L tank bag.
Suzuki intergrated plastic panniers (Right 21L, Left 18L) and fitment kit.
Givi aluminium top box rack and 52L black and silver top box with inner bag. (TRK52N TREKKER)
New and unused JT chain and sprocket set, JT525Z3 "all silver" 116L chain, JTF520-17RB front sprocket, JTR1792.41 rear sprocket.

On the off chance that someone is looking to buy a DL1000 I'd sell my White 17 plate DL1000AL8 for £6500

It has less than 5000 miles on the clock, full service history, all of the parts listed above, Delvekic de-cat pipe, bigpie fusebox and both regular and low seats included.

I'm sorry to hear of your health issues.

Good luck with the sale and I hope recover enough to be biking again at some point. :thumb:

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I love the bike but if I'm not going to be able to ride it the thought of leaving it in my garage to rust away just doesn't feel right..

Forgot to mention it has a SWMotech centre stand and the Cymarc gear change enhancer.

I need the bike gone before the end of June this year as I don't want to pay for another year of insurance, sadly there isn't much room on price as I believe this is already a fantastic deal for this machine with so many extras.

@markymark, if I'm forced to hand it off to a dealer I'll remove the listed accessories and get in touch so we can work out a price.

I currently have the Suzuki aluminium top box and panniers on my 2018 V1k and find the top box a little small for my needs, as I usually ride with just the top box. Do you know if your one would fit with the standard panniers and if the rack is different or if I could fit your givi to the standard rack?

The other alternative might be your top box for normal everyday riding but back to the old with panniers when I go away somewhere.

If you still have it and it fits with the above I’m interested! Sorry for the verbal download. Too early on a Sunday with a cold!

Too right! Particularly when I have had the week off to be with my son and have caught his cold!
