Not an in any way an expert ..so...
When picking it up like that pop the side stand down first , saves throwing it down on the other side too , ask me how I know
The Strom tip over seems to take a while to reset ( with the ignition off )
And a big one ...that may cause some uproar....... don't be afraid ( despite what all the heroes in the vids do )...To sit down sometimes.
As I get older and the knees don't flex like they used to , I can't take a touch easily standing up like when I was 20 ..or even 30 , so if below say 15 mph I will happily sit on a gnarly slow bit to be able to take that touch that will save a drop , sod if it looks bad

2112 , if they made a "sport " version , like the Africa Twin , with 19 /17 " cast wheels and tubeless I would be all over it Not adverse to Honda , 21" or tubes , see my CRF , but have that end of things already covered
Mick , Ta , pretty much as you have posted before , glad to have it confirmed as the miles rack up
Any others wanting to chime in would also be helpful , quite a few low mile deals going at the moment , that while I am not done with the 650.... are VERY tempting....

Lovely in the summer but I must admit, I usually only ride across Dartmoor in winter to get to the other side in the straightest line, usually through Princetown and onward to Plymouth.
I will be doing the Whiddon Down to Plymouth ride one day very soon (probably in lashing rain) to have my MOT done. I could have it done closer but the rules permit me to go to where ever I book it in and I always go to the same place where I know I will have a fare test, pass or fail.
Exmoor is a more beautiful ride and better roads for me because the 40mph limit is a bit of a killer on some stretches of Dartmoor.
