Title: Sports Screen
Post by: Juvecu on March 17, 2011, 13:36:48
Has anyone near Warwick (in about an hour's radius) got a sports screen they'd be willing to lend me for a week to test? I can offer the use of a tall tinted MRA Vario and/or a Givi barn door or simply a standard screen.

According to Google Maps Leicester is exactly 1 hour away from me, to the minute. If you can talk to him I'd appreciate it, offer him the use of one of my screens. I can drive out to him sometime and will take the screen he'd want to try with me (if he wants to try any of that at all.)

Had a look at that video just now, at the moment I'm off sick at home and the camera shake made me nauseas. The bloke seems to like the sound of his voice, he could have done a video in half the time if he didn't repeat himself that much :)

I'm looking at the sports screen in combination with the Madstad bracket I have. Hoping that I can have a small as possible screen with as good as windflow as I can get. At present I have the standard screen and the Madstad and it's working well. As the bloke says, the standard screen is a bit ugly and doesn't work too well. I considered cutting down a standard screen (I have 2), but then decided that the end result would look like crap. Looking at the video I think I was right, he might like it, but I don't.

Gassoon is sending me a sports screen on loan for testing  :thumb:
