Title: Where to get Long Legged Trousers.
Post by: Indiana2002 on March 12, 2011, 16:03:02
Anyone know where you can get a long fitting trouser.
I need a 35"- 36" inside leg, and most are too short, I got a very good set of textiles at Hein Gericke at the start of the year, but there was only one pair of longish trousers, and they seem to ride up when I'm riding, it gets a bit drafty at the top of the boot.

Any one know where I can get a long inside leg trouser, good quality, textile or leather, with armour online?

Many thanks in advance.

Al.

HELD textiles go quite long in the leg.

Try Getgeared .co.uk

I run in Richa Monsoons...
and I have 35" legs... being 6'6"...
They are good, but again, if you are warm, and they decide to stick to you... then it can be a little drafty... but that is a rarity...

I have the same problem 6'6 and skinny
richa monsoon are good as you can buy them in long leg but what I do is buy any trousers I like and then my local tailor extends them for me for £10. they use all the proper materials and you would never say my trouser were extended:)

I too have this issue, and tried the loner leg stuff, nothing seems to work correctly.
I approached form a different way. get longer/higher boots.
I used to have daytona road star, upgraded to altberg clubman. these are approx 4" higher.
the boots are waterproof and handmade in yorkshire.
search in this forum for other stuff on altberg, or try the website.
they do other hi boots, like the Hogg high all weather.
its solved my problem.

Might be worth mentioning that my current RST Paragon II trousers do not ride up on my boots. I noticed they have a rubber lining on the inside seam and it's very tacky/rubbery feeling, but not sticky. It might worth to just do something similar on your favourite trousers to stop them riding up. It's only about an inch wide and goes all the way around. Have a look at some RST Paragon II trousers next time you're in a bike shop if you want to see it. I've also found that if the trousers are too tight fitting around the boots they will wear up, if they are a bit loose they can slide down easier. If they fit tight they get pulled up and they can't slide down.

I'm 6'6" with a 36" inside leg.  Recently bought a pair of Podium textile from JTS.....fit fine, good length and have good write ups.
