Anyone got any good winter waterproof warm glove recommendations? Preferably that will fit inside the OEM handguards easily.

Heated Gloves all the way!!!!!

I'm also in the market for some new winter gloves, my current ones are Hein Gericke ones and they have seen better days, they won't make it all the way through a second winter. I've heard good things about Halvarssons gloves (and their other stuff too) so I will be checking those out when I have some time.

I have found that the Hein gerike Gtx glove (gore-tex) For £49.99 is very good not the warmest I have tried but very waterproof. I did find that if you use Gore tex golves with heated grips they sweat so you end up with wet hands :(. I have also tried Truimphs Adventrue Sympatex glove (My Dad is still using a Pair) With Built in visor wipe. Great warmth but a bit on the bulky side very waterproof. :auto-dirtbike:

I've been using a pair of Racer Pluvio gloves for about the last five winters and they are just now starting to show signs of needing replacement.
These gloves have a really good double cuff with a neoprene inner that fits easily under a jacket. The outer cuff has a kind of mesh-covered drain hole so that rain running down sleeves and into the cuff does not even get as far as the inner cuff. Really good and easy to use wrist fastening strap as well.
No draughts between glove and jacket and warm enough when coupled to hand guards and heated grips - I think they cost me about eighty quid and so far done around 40k miles. I'll have another pair if they haven't gone up too much. :thumb:

I did a quick google for racer pluvio gloves and came up with the article below, seems they might be more than £80 these days:

After a bit of reading around, I'm quite tempted by a pair of these:

I hate having to tuck gloves in under my sleeves, the Racer Pluvio gloves look like they can solve this issue. I might invest in a pair if I can find some for a reasonable price somewhere.

I have a pair of alpinestar ST2 drystar and although the protection is not great they are waterproof and the controls of the bike can be felt easily, the ST2 is the summer version but I use them all year round. The SR2 is the winter version and will fit easily inside the handguards.
The other year I went on a trip around europe with some friends and it rained, heavily for a few days, my hands were completely dry all the time whilst my friends called into bike shops along the way to buy new gloves as their hands were wet through and cold. The best gloves I have ever bought and not expensive, I was very surprised at the performance for the money and I will be buying another pair.
Cheapest I can find is here

I too need new winter gloves, my old pair of Kett's (£4 on E-bay 4 yrs ago) are just not warm enough once it gets below 8 deg (a common temp up here any time of year!!). I love their rubber visor wipe though.
I'm also leaning towards the Halvarssons - the Newman glove specifically. Anyone got a pair of these and if so, what are your likes & dislikes?
Cheers
Col.
