Anybody got one that fits the shape of the wee tank OK? I'm after one that's a decent capacity.
-
well I've narrowed it down to two, this one
http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/prod ... nk-bag/448 (http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/product/joe-rocket-manta-xl-tank-bag/448)
which is easy to get, or this one
http://www.motopakluggage.com/gtxmini.html (http://www.motopakluggage.com/gtxmini.html)
which is not so easy as there isn't a uk distributor. I e mailed the company and it's at least $24 to post to the uk plus I may get collared for import duties when it arrives.
Anybody any experience with joe rocket gear?

Anybody any experience with joe rocket gear?
got some JR trousers, use them all year round :rain: :))) :rain: :rain: and no problems. Bought them at George Whites in Slough, can't remember the price but good bits of kit.

Honda use Joe Rocket to make their kit so can't be that bad, I've got one of their mesh jackets for really hot days and it's really good :)

I use a Heine Gericke Toureg. The one in my avatar, pretty good, didn't leak at all on our massive ride at Easter :thumb:
Good expandable bag. Make sure you go to a camping shop and get a roll of that trim-to-fit non-slip matting, costs about £3 but saves you scratching your tank!! :shy:

My summer gloves are Joe Rocket ones and they are great. I might get another pair when these are worn out.

Thanks for all the responses, I've ordered the joe rocket manta xl from here http://www.highsidemotorcycles.co.uk/products.php?pg=3 (http://www.highsidemotorcycles.co.uk/products.php?pg=3) I'll do a write up with pictures when it arrives. :thumb:

Just thought I would add my experience - I bought a Famsa Enduro tankbag - very nicely made, fairly showerproof, sits on a model-specific harness so no scratching of the tank and an excellent fit to the bike, plenty of capacity and expandable. Downsides - unzipping the thing to fill the tank; it's a right fiddle to engage the zip again afterwards, and the very triangular shape of the map window means that you have to commit serious map-abuse to get them to fit. Otherwise, a very good bit of kit.

Has anyone used them or seen them?
