I'm just back from staying with friends in Spain for two weeks. While I was there my friends received the tragic news that a family member had been killed by a driver who didn't see him (didn't look) when he was riding past on his Suzuki SV.
Josh will be taken to rest on the 25 September and his biker family have asked that as many bikers as possible escort him. The details are in the link below. 22 years old, far too young, it's tragic and will affect so many including the car driver. :bawl:

Sorry to hear that news, Doc.
(No link showing here.)

Terrible news, just so, so sad...
-
Very sad to read this.
I hope they get a good turnout of bikers as requested.

I'm sorry, I forgot to ad the link and now can't find it. If anybody would like to and is able to escort Josh, bikers will meet at Malbank School car park, Crew at around 1pm 25th September and ride through the town at about 2:45pm. Josh's Mum Jen would really appreciate your attendance. Thank you.

Here you go, a quick search on Facebook found this ............
‼️CALLING ALL BIKERS (and none bikers)‼️
As many of you will know by now, Neil and I lost our eldest son and Lily lost her beloved boyfriend, to a motorcycle accident on the 3rd of Sept.
The funeral Josh Stockton will take place on Thursday the 25th of September at Crewe Crematorium at 3:30pm.
There will be a bike/car escort, leaving from my home address and I ask for as many bikers as possible to attend to give him the escort he deserves. Josh was so loved 💙
The street I live in will be reserved for Joshua, his closest friends, his Rebel Ryderz bike family, the family car and the Ford GT (that he took everyone to go and see).
I ask that all other cars that may wish to attend, use the car park at the main entrance of Malbank High school, or respectfully park on Welsh Row.
We’re hopeful that there will be a number of bikers to escort him.
Again I respectfully request that you wait on Welsh Row.
Once the GT leaves, I ask that all bikers follow behind in staggered formation.
Cars to follow behind the bikers please.
Please be respectful and remain in your space!
NO OVERTAKING
The escort will be marshalled at lights and roundabouts by his Rebels bike family so we can get him there and without the escort breaking up.
Following the service at the Crematorium, we invite you all to attend Nantwich Football ground for a further celebration of Joshua’s life.
CARS - please use the gravel overflow car park on site (us bikers don't get on with gravel).
BIKERS - the concrete car park is for you:
There will be seating and a buffet in the function room and a “bike night” on the main car park (burger van, ice cream van and bar will be available).
EVERYONE is welcome to join us.
Dress code: Please, no black (unless you’re in leathers/bike gear).
Joshua didn’t want a formal funeral.
We ask for people to wear any or all of the following:
Odd socks
Shorts
Dressing gown
Beanie
Let’s give our boy the send off he deserves 💙
If you plan to join the escort, please arrive before 2pm.
There is a high school directly opposite my address on Welsh Row, Nantwich - Malbank School CW5 5HD.
Cars on the school car park.
All bikes are to park on Welsh Row near the school.
When the funeral procession leaves my address, bikers are to follow the ford GT and cars after the bikers.
