Belter, a great find :thumb:
I never had a fizzy, I was a four stroke boy from the off with the mighty SS50 Honda. Mine had been 'de-pedalled' by (one of) the previous owners and the exhaust baffles had been cut down a bit. It actually went quite well and could keep up with my mates on fizzy's & AP50's quite well. Happy days!

I have been trying to find a picture of me on my FSIE I have it somewhere I will keep looking lol
-
I've just remembered, I could get both knee's down on my SS50 - at the same time!
-
I haven’t found the actual picture yet, but found a picture of the picture lol
I have also added a little bit of the moped section which is in the Norfolk motorcycle museum.

Is that a white Craven top box I spy ?
-
Hmmm, or a Kangol or even Rickman if you were flush?
-
2112 It was already on the bike when I bought it, to be honest it was quite a decent top box. Did you also notice the Stadium helmet ? My brother gave it to me and it was to big really 🤔 I did buy a pea shooter exspansion chamber for it lol
Rusty Nuts I definitely was not flush ( my birthday is in September and I had to stay on at school so I was the oldest in my year so used the FSIE to and from school ) mine was 1974 M reg and was a SS model the one before the FS1E I believe it stood for sixstener special ? I only had a paper round at the time lol
I left school in may and went straight to work. I didn’t have any bike gear at all :dl_smiley_banghead:
My mates were a few months younger and Gavin had a Gorelli tiger cross, Paul had a Fantic cabelero and Robin like 2112 had a Honda SS 50
Brilliant times :thumb:

First crash helmet, Kangol Gladiator, full face and same colour as my bike. The school year before mine had left and were riding Yamaha 125 twins. I remember them being very quick and cool. My first bike was a Yamaha 350 twin that blew them all away. I honestly think I am lucky to have got past those first couple of years. :auto-dirtbike: :auto-dirtbike: :auto-dirtbike: :thumb:
