Hi,
I’m French and live in south of France Nîmes.
But I’m not born this side of the Atlantic, I’m from St Pierre and Miquelon and freshly arrived in Nîmes.
Glad to read all your useful post, I was looking to fix my ABS light which ramdomly light up.
I’ve found lot of useful infos in there and found a almost burnt connector on the left side of my vstrom 650 2012, the one that feed the the heads light.
Since the by-pass I ve done everything is OK now.
So the lesson lea learned here was that a leak of power can provide ABS malfunction.
I’ll try to share some pictures

I may be out of line in posting this.... Since this is the welcome section, I highly recommend that you post your ABS failure experience under https://www.v-strom.co.uk/smf/index.php?board=58.0. That way many more members will be able to view and be able to do a future search, if in time of need, on how to solve this type of ABS failure. Any pix on the subject are always welcome.
