I’ve owned my 2004 DL1000 for, well 21 years. It has been a great bike with really no problems except the rotor magnets coming loose, which I epoxied back in place. Probably will keep it for ever. I’m from California and I found this forum recently. Thought I would see if I could join as a Yank and I got excepted. I was station at RAF Upper Heyford for 2 years in the 80’s. maybe that counts a little. Looking forward to learning stuff about the VStrom from my UK fellow riders. Thanks, Dave

Welcome to the forum Titus

2004 DL650 here and I have also had mine from new.
All the members here are jealous of the Silver Frame as they have to put up with the cheap black ones.
:)
We have many American members and people from all over the world now.

Welcome. Upper Heyford? Visited there a few times between 1982 and 1984 whilst in the Army stationed at Long Marston (near Stratford-upon-Avon).👍
