Tonight after work my wife was driving to her dentist appointment, when someone cut her up at a roundabout causing her to hit the curb with both near side wheels. Resulting in a burst front tyre and a damaged alloy wheel.
She rang me in a right state asking what do I do, my first words were you need to calm down !! I asked are you off the road and safe she was 👍
So I said you need to contact the AA ( which she did on the App) and was told someone will be with you within the hour, then she had a message saying they will be there in 5 mins.
When we bought the car new it only came with the little compressor thingy. But I said we wanted a full size Alloy wheel & Tyre good job I did as she would have been stuffed.
The AA man had a trainee with him and my wife said they were really nice and comforting towards her, they fitted the full size unused wheel for her and even checking the damaged Rim for her, saying you should be able to just get a new tyre.
She was so very happy with the help and support both AA men gave her she gave them some money so they could buy coffee.
I will take the wheel to get checked tomorrow and get a new tyre fitted 👍
So a very BIG thumbs up the the AA 👍👍
