I love my hammock. At the moment it does limit my options on where to stop, but there is always somewhere you can find with some uprights, even if it isn't your first choice. However I am working on that, to create a bike packable solution to 'no trees' that will mean I could even sling my hammock on a beach!

I used one in the jungle and found it very uncomfortable but it was a quick bed, light and small. I prefer an "A" frame, only a little bit more to carry and a little longer to make but, if you are staying for a few day's then I would make an "A" frame, a bed like home :) :thumb:

Depends on how you sleep.
If you sleep on your back its probably OK.
I tried one but I sleep in the recovery position, so it was OK for napping ,not good for sleeping.
