Title: Not so Well-nuts!!
Post by: Suzuki_mike on April 07, 2023, 13:34:57
Dear all,
Thinking putting on a Givi Air-flow windscreen would be a straightforward task even given my limited maintenance ability.
Alas not so, all the mountings had rotted away - basically nothing now to bolt into. I understand what I need is a new set of 'well-nuts'. This for a 2016 650. Does anyone know where to get them and / or some cunning fix with parts from local B&Q??
My bike is due its MOT tomorrow, I'm assuming lack of windscreen won't cause the now super-naked 650 to fail?
All help gratefully received.
regards
Mike

Remove the screen and go for the MOT.

You can get well nuts and pretty much any bike shop. Oxford products do them.
Or as others have said eBay do them and will be cheaper. They are pretty generic , no need for 'Suzuki' ones.
Good luck
