Hello All,
Hope you are keeping well.
I am after a new set of boots as my current one is less waterproof than a sieve. The last 2 pairs I've had, the whole inner liner and the inner sole used to pull out every time I removed the boots, making it very annoying.
Any good suggestions for waterproof touring / adventure boots, budget of around £150
Thanks,
Kris

I have a set of RST raid X boots.
Comfy with a nice grippy sole for walking, buckles seem sturdy enough and they've not let water in yet.
The foot section is quite large volume so I have insole inserts in them but then my feet are very flat.

Take a look at these Alpinestars WP great boots.

Forma make an adventure boot around your budget. My pair have taken me around the world and are still comfy. So much so I use them as my only boots now having sold of my other pair of Daytona boots.

The advice I got from Boots was, Apply 2 times a day, Use sparingly. If symptoms persist.....

lol
I almost bought Forma boots but they only guarantee the waterproofing for two years whereas Gore-Tex guarantee it for life. I ended up buying TCX again. But I also spent ages in Sportsbikeshop trying on different boots to comfortable ones.

I recently bought a pair of Sidi Adventure boots, the reviews are true. I know they are "spendy" but as the Great Man (Brockett) once said "there are no pockets in a shroud".
Looked after they will give years of use and as I suspect provide value for money.

I've had my Sidi Adventures for at least 8 years and they're still comfy, waterproof and look good for years to come. They miss the budget on the brief by a fair margin though. This has reminded me that I was looking for a pair of boots more suited to the Guzzis, but never quite get around to it.

I bought the Forma Adventure boot in March 2020

Fantastic boot, all day comfort out of the box and I can confirm they are waterproof.
They still look like they are new and they have been worn on my daily commute since I got them (mostly)

Like others, I have Forma boots, now 4 years old, still waterproof, reasonably robust and very comfy. Happily buy another pair assuming I couldn't afford Gaerne at double the price. Lots of previously reputable big name manufacturers have moved production to China with a drop in quality. Gaerne are still made in Italy, and Forma made in Romania (and also make for other Euro brands).

me too for forma best boots I've had

I'm on my second pair of Sidi black rain . Shop around and you can find them at about 100 quid. My first pair lasted 7 years, I changed as they were looking tired and the sole was worn., but still dry!
