I've been reading all the threads on tyres as my rear needed changing. I opted for a BT021 as I've had them on other bikes, and never go off road (intentiaonally  ) on my Strom. I got mine fitted in Milton keynes for £120 all in. The only niggle is that Bridgestone don't appear to make a BT021 for the front wheel of a Strom. I believe that there are still some BT020's in that fitment out there, but no longer in production. Anyone know any more on this? Might this be something that we could contact Bridgestone over and highlight as a future development/sales opportunity, with the weight of our group behind the request?

Hi Mr T
Bridgstone only produce the BW501(battle wing) in our size now as they claim its performance is well suited to our bike . There are still plenty of BT020 fronts out there in the warehouses, they never bothered producing the BT021 or the new BT023 in 19inch fitments for some reason, the BT020 front gives good miliage, grip and feel, some don't like the looks, its overall performance is all I care about personally .

Its rear tyre time again for me too
I will stick to the Bridgestone BT020. I rate the tyre very highly and, on this bike at least, I won't be using anything else :thumb:
