Hello team,I have just put a deposit on a Glee and it has this chain oiler on it.Anyone recognise the make and model ?

This one I reckon

Yes as above Ian but with a high capacity Magnum HCR – Touring Reservoir

Check whether or not your number plate light still does its job. A picky cop or mot tester could take a dislike to the plate being further out than the lamp. Also, Scottoiler don't recommend hcr mounting on the rear mudguard due to the weight of the device and the strength of the mudguard.

Thanks for the quick response everybody.

I put the a scotoiler touring reservoir on my old wee. I then put a little LED R&G number plate light on the OEM plate light.
Both worked well.

Yes I had one of those fitted to my last bike for over nine years, great bit of kit, never bothered about number plate light & never had any problems at mot time.
Last chain lasted 42 thousand miles & was still in the green at the adjusters, but the sprockets wear shot it.

Thanks team, paid for the bike today and was promised it would be delivered on Saturday, so first job is a good look over it.I am not keen on the chain oiler behind the number plate, so will probably remove the touring tank and relocate the oiler itself, we shall see.I should have loads of time until the end of lockdown.I have lots of spares that will fit from the K9,oil filters, brake pads etc.Just have to buy oil as I never trust garages with the oil they put in.
42k.miles on a chain is excellent, what oil did you use ?

All ways use the proper scottoil oil the blue one , tried chainsaw oil but found that to be no good , to stringy & just seemed to clog everything up.
Good look with the new bike & ride safe.
Ian 😘
