I have now sold my 2005 V-Strom and removed the rather nice Nitron NTR-R1 Shock.

According to the Nitron website it will fit 2004 - 2011 models, it is adjustable for rebound damping and ride height and it also has the optional Remote Pre-Load Adjuster. New price is £648.

It has been on my bike for a few years, but only done about 5,000 miles, I got it as I had lent Nitron a couple of bikes for dev work (including my strom) so they did me a deal I could not refuse and fitted it whilst they borrowed my Strom.

It is in very good condition and a huge improvement over the standard unit, it is fully serviceable and Nitron charge £65.00 for a service or £95.00 for a full rebuild. (exc. VAT)

I am looking for £300 plus postage (£25) or pickup from Witney area.

80Kg, but it should work well across a wider range than standard so would be an improvement over the OE one regardless.

Nitron could re-spring it during a service if you needed it different, probably still work out a lot cheaper than new.

Checked original order.

Bought it September 2015 and it had a 155nm spring fitted, I would of told them for 80kg rider, it is noticeably stiffer than the (rather soggy) standard item that was on my 2005 model.

If anyone wanted to have it serviced or re-sprung after purchase I might be able to drop it off to Nitron for them as I live just up the road, so may save you posting it to and from Nitron.

I am also home from Tomorrow and do not go back to work until the 3rd January if anyone wanted to come and pick it up.

Plan to list it on E-Bay this weekend.
