So been thinking and can't find much on the subject. What you think about these ere fork brace things, any good. I would welcome you comments.

Used to have one on my Vee . Sorted the front end , worth the money . :thumb:

I fitted the "Cosmo" brace and I feel it has made a great improvement to the Wee.
-
Made a difference to my 2013 DL650 much better in crosswinds

Made a big difference to my wee. Handling felt tauter, more accurate. better in crosswinds (its a biggish front wheel). After the front mudguard extender, the best mod I've done to the bike!
There is (was) an interesting discussion on the forum HERE (http://www.v-strom.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=7842.msg63397#msg63397)

It's good idea. It's a long way from the triple clamp to the axle and it doesn't take much to twist and shimmy. Stand in the front of the bike with the tyre clamped between your feet and wiggle the handlebars. Without a brace, you can watch the front of the mudguard pass by the treads.

I fitted the Cosmo brace to my Glee a few weeks ago ... very impressed. Riding seems more secure, and the front end much less nervous on poor surfaces. Sidewinds aren't a problem (although I hadn't noticed any difficulties without the brace).

Fitted a Cosmo brace last week tested it this week, made a great improvement to my glee better on the motorway now less crosswind problems feels more planted now. :thumb:

Sounds fab. I have my bike lowered cos I is teeny so the front forks are through about 14mm. Is it still OK do you think.
I am not an off roader so no major bumpy bumps. I hope

It will fine I've got my front lowered about the same and have got a fork brace. :thumb:

14mm is fine. The Glee doesn't have the brake line junction box under the lower triple clamp like the ABS Wee does. The ABS Wee with a fork brace is limited to about 10mm.
-
Thanks GW much appreciated. Do you happen to know of the fork brace for the wee will fit mine

My buddy Rick at AdventureTech, who makes fork braces, says the measurements are slightly different. I used a Wee brace on my Glee with no problems though.
-
That's great thanks. If you get a moment could you have a look at The for sale section Pug27. His is for a wee/vee. Would you think that it would be OK

I don't feel comfortable saying definitively that a Wee brace will work on a Glee since I found out Rick said the dimensions were a little different.
-
OK
That's fine I fully understand, thanks again for your help
