Title: Lower seat

I've had the Vee a nearly a week now and loving it. Being a little bit vertically challenged side, I picked up my lowered seat today. Not too sure on the positioning yet. Did 400 miles on the standard seat, quite a change to leg room with the lower seat. Much more confident when touching down, but legs maybe too cramped up on a long run. Will have to wait a while to see if I get used to it.
Has anyone fitted lower pegs and if so what sort?

I have the Cosmo lower pegs on my Wee they are alot better than the standard. I think Cymarc do the lowering kit as well.

I have the adventure tech lowering plates on my Veek. Great job but as there from the usa the postage was half the price of the plates! Look for a uk maker like cymarc etc
The foot pegs will touch down a lot earlier with these plates fitted. I had to remove the hero bobs but they still hit the deck closely followed by the main stand.  This might be just me!

I tried the lower seat when I bought mine and didn't like it at all !  Felt like sitting on a plank  :icon_no:

I've  now done a couple hundred miles on the lower seat now and it seems fine. Until I stop and put a foot down, just seems too wide at the bottom.
One big plus point is I get very little buffeting from the screen, now my head is an inch lower. Screen in high position and normally in middle angle. Put it in forward angle on motorway and seem good at about 75/80 mph.

Just seen the tank side protectors on your bike, they look good.
Are they rubber ones or just thin protection film, and where did you get them?

There r&g easz tank pads, thin grippy rubber,  stick on. Only trouble is there's four parts, two tank pads that stick great and two pads that go on the plastic side panels below the tank, these don't stick to good (now removed). Got of eBay,  29 quid I think. Suzuki also do there own too.
