Title: She whtbo has VERY reluctantly given her permission
Post by: ProfG on August 17, 2016, 11:42:08
She has given her so called OK for me to travel there on the bike. Some women just don't seem to understand

Return flights are just under £400 with 10 hour travelling time.

Bike ride is almost £700 with 3-4 days travelling time to Moscow. Then there's another 850 miles down to Krasnodar and touring around the Black Sea, Sochi, Tuapse and onto Sukhumi in Abkhazia so that's another £200 or so.

Common sense says take the flight. Adventure says take the bike and sleep at Motorway services.

Decisions decisions.

Common sense came out on top. Cannot justify the extra £500  :bawl:

Put some of that £500 towards a hire bike when you get there  :thumb: :auto-dirtbike:

Theoretically yes. In reality it could be a problem.

Have to buy the clothing, but more importantly you never know the state of the bike, especially its mechanical state which could be dangerous. Additionally, a foreign number plate helps with people being a little more considerate.

Might check it out anyway.
