Hi
I've been looking for some of these and found some on Evilbay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PANNIER-LINER-BAGS-INNER-BAGS-LUGGAGE-BAGS-TO-FIT-Suzuki-V-Strom-1000-2014/171950023630?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D4d8fb5145fb7464a84e274b689569449%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D171950023630
Anyone tried these ?
They don't look right to me :icon_no:

They're for a V S t o r m, so no good for a V Strom
-
Thanks for the link, I've been looking for some of these for ages, obviously the incorrect spelling was the reason I couldn't find them. Make packing so much easier.
Just ordered some, I'll let you know what they're like.
-
Got some of these the other day. Seem well made and the fit well with the smaller one fitting underneath the larger one on the exhaust side. :thumb:
-
Came through the post yesterday, so 48 hours delivery, really well made and look like they have a little bit of water resistance. There are two zips on both of the large bags so packing should be a breeze and the little bag will come in handy for wallet, sunglasses, makeup  etc
Heading to Wales in a couple of weeks so will give them a proper test then.
-
Weekend in Wales done.
New pannier bags made taking my gear into the hotel much easier, no lugging heavy, dirty panniers in with me.
The 2 bag setup on the exhaust side is a bit rubbish though, I can't get both bags to fit properly and it's reducing the already limited capacity.

Yes, I've now bought some and unless I'm doing something wrong, the bags seem to fit in with the zip on the inside. Is that right ?
-
That's the conclusion I came to. They mustn't be filled to full either to fit nicely, but I think they are good value.
-
I have ordered some too, as I hate lugging pannier boxes into every B&B! Will add my review later
-
Any update on these folks, still on flea bay and only ones I have seen for the OE panniers ?
Not so many left now. Might get some for my first trip next month, other wise 'carrier bags R Us'

They seem pretty good, quite well made. I've used them recently on a trip to Scotland, used them to keep some tools in,waterproofs, spare gloves, spare pair of training shoes, cap/neck tubes/air compressor/chainlube. All my clothes went in a Lomo 40L rollbag. As someone said further up best if you fill them up and they slot in very nicely.
-
Thanks, will order some. :)

The bike in the advert showing how they fit is mine. We are off touring Ireland next week which is the first opportunity I have had to use them. I had a bit of bother when I ordered and they took a long time to arrive, but in fairness the bloke adjusted the price downwards to reflect this. Packing is going to be an experience, as my previous bike was a PanEuropean on which we did a lot of miles !

Thanks, will order some. :)
I had the same problems as other folk on here, in that they didn't arrive, so I went through Ebay for a refund which I got. The seller was not responding to any messages. Upshot was that I left negative feedback and he soon responded and offered to send the bags for free if I retracted the negative feedback. So all good in the end Free panniers.
YMMV

You had a good deal Simmo !! :)
Arrived within a few days, well made and will fit nice. Expensive for what they are but no other options so job done. Looking forward to first trip end of month when they will be used. Thanks for inputs but anyone else with OE panniers I would also recommend.
I now have to make up my mind on the top box. Do I keep that or upgrade to a bigger one. The Suzuki one looks good but is smallest top case I have ever had. One full face helmet, nothing else.
-
I've got an old Givi E45 top box which I just keep transferring from bike to bike. Just been to Scotland for a week and this time I used a 40L Lomo rollbag for my clothes which worked well and kept the top box free for storing stuff when away from the bike.
-
I opted for collection from my local Argos, and that worked well.
Quality is good. Ready for my trip to the Peak District next month.

If your after a top box I ordered a
Kappa Monokey Side kgr46 Garda off amazon. Superb piece of kit. Can be used as top box or side case 46ltrs. Best bit was the price. It was £130 delivered direct from Italy came in 4 days. Most places in the uk £170 plus for the same case.
