Title: Won't rev in top gear

Sold my previous 2011 DL650,as it was getting high on the mileage.It could pull 10,000 in top comfortably,Replaced with same year  etc,cuts out at 8,500 in top,intermediates get 10,000! what's different? any ideas? Auto retard,Lamda sensor? Need help,trackday's coming up,cheers Bill

Sounds like a clogged high pressure fuel filter is a possibility.
