Title: Kirky's indicator lights
Post by: Holmsey on December 06, 2014, 23:21:22
Fortunately I have come into the possession of the aforementioned product .... A quick question for the more electrically minded .... I will be fitting the rears as normal in the loom ... but my question is where would the best place to wire the front indicators, I have purchased some detachable connectors just in case I have to remove the crash bars. Any help will be appreciated and I hope to post a video of the unveiling as soon as....

Thanks to all in advance  :thumb:

Are you replacing the existing indicators or supplementing them?.

Holmsey,
Just trace the 2 wires going to the indicator stalks and patch into them mate. The led's are very low power and will be fine. Also, they are polarity protected , so will work either way round . Being the first set made , I'm keen to see how these work out and I'm grateful for all your help.  Because the led's' are instantaneous it may look like they are flashing slightly out of sequence as the standard indicator bulbs have to energise first but this should make them more obvious. A wee video would be good to see how they perforn  :thumb:
Hope this helps.
