Essential stuff for washing Goretex riding or skiing gear. If I remember correctly, Last time I got 2 one litre bottles of each product. Great bargain!
-
Last time I bought some it was from Tesco too. Not really convinced however.
I washed my Aerostich suit in it, it cleaned the suit, and the water did 'bead' well afterwards, but I noticed no improvement in waterproofing.
Think I paid £12 three years ago, but those bottles give loadsa washes for all you kit, and any other stuff you can think of.. I.e. stinky trainers etc.!
-
Thanks for the heads up. I have just ordered some.
-
I've tried to convince myself that this stuff works over the years, with Event/Goretex fabrics etc....it just doesn't imo. ###

Fabsil'd my jacket and trousers yesterday with a paintbrush, will be interested to see if it is any better than the Nikwax
-
The Nikwax products worked fine on my old Hein Gericke "Sheltex" jacket over the last 6 years! It remains waterpoof, and still looking fairly good (until my argument with a tipper truck )
-
+1 (minus the tipper truck)
-
I have used this on 2 jackets now and found that it cleaned the jacket well and whilst it didn't make it more waterproof it maintained what proofing was in the gortex so for £6 it was in my humble opinion a reasonable purchase
