Wanted - Sat Nav
« on: August 03, 2023, 18:15:12 »
Hello everyone

I have recently managed to drive over my Sat Nav, please don’t ask, it’s not been the best of weeks.

If anyone has one lurking around that they don’t need anymore, I would love to buy it.

I don’t really want to splash out on a fancy pants one just yet.

Don’t want to use my phone because I am a Luddite.

Cheers

Ian

If you were a Luddite, you would be using a map and compass

Well I took it off my K75s ready to put it on my DL and laid it gently on the ground.

You know who, who by the way totally blames me for being so stupid as to put it on the ground drove over it on her way out.

All my fault obviously.

Cheers

Ah well! That's what this forum's for. If you'd have asked the question on here,
"Should I put my Sat Nav on the ground, gently or not, close to, in front of or behind a motor vehicle"?
I'm pretty sure the majority of answers would have been NO! Not all, but the majority.

I would have said "Yes, what's the worse that can happen"?

And then we would know.

I do have a Garmin Zumo that I don't use since I upgraded...  Comes complete with everything as boxed including the fitting kit and cradle with all the accessories.
I'm currently in Spain visiting my new grandson.... If you don't find anything let me know. I'm back next Friday.

Be careful..

All the saved places on his Sat Nav are doughnut shops , it's where he used to hang out .

Oh .. and lorry parks down dark lanes.    :stirpot:

All those dark places are saved on a covert drive.... Can't have them find the bodies.  :shy:
