Heed crashbars
« on: February 18, 2019, 18:51:01 »
I ordered a set of Heed crashbars for my V-Strom, when they arrived I was looking foward to fitting them, during fitting I found a sheared bolt in the sleeve that connects the bars infront of the radiator, I sent Heed a message regarding this and sent pictures, they have refused to send another sleeve out, had a few emails from them, customer service is poor. so now I have to drill out what is left of the bolt, re tap it if I can, or drill it out to a larger size.

That is a shame 😔 I have heed bars fitted and they are a brilliant bit of kit, I am surprised you have not had any help from them ? I also agree you shouldn’t have to drill the bolt out yourself !!
Hope you get this sorted 😀

I got a new connecting sleeve from them after a strong worded email, customer service is shocking, I had to remind them I had not yet left feedback on Ebay for the purches.

I had an email exchange with them some time ago trying to set up a members discount, 'we don't need the V-Strom site members' was the reply.  :violence-smack:
